That means it died only like a couple months after I got this computer.
I hear people say you don’t need the fan anyway, but it seems to be causing a lot of instability problems. Who brought that stuff anyway?

Intel just recently released a gigabyte agp 8x motherboard chipset for Intel Pentium 4. E only supports DDR at this point, but with future validations, DDR will most likely come into the next generation chipset. That means I’ve been running with a dead chipset fan for a ‘long’ time.
